Motus Toyota & Hino Nelspruit has officially opened applications for an Apprentice Level 1 to join their service team in Mbombela. This is a premier 3-year training contract designed for individuals who want to become qualified Motor Mechanic Technicians within the world-renowned Toyota network.

Role Overview

As an Apprentice Level 1, you will work under the direct supervision of a qualified Technician. This is a “hands-on” role where you will learn by doing.

Location: Mbombela (Nelspruit), Mpumalanga.
Contract Type: 3-Year Apprenticeship.
Closing Date: 06 March 2026.

What You Will Be Doing

Your training will involve the following core technical tasks:

Assisting with vehicle repairs and removing/replacing parts.
Lubricating and changing oils as per Toyota manual specifications.
Removing and fitting air filters, oil filters, and batteries.
Learning to use trestles and jack up vehicles safely.
Attending prescribed technical level courses to complete your qualification.

Requirements for 2026 Applicants

Motus has strict academic requirements for this engineering-focused role:

Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science (Essential).
License: A valid Driver’s License is a major advantage.
Record: Must have a clear criminal record.
Aptitude: You must show a flair for repairing vehicles and a willingness to work in a workshop environment.
