What It Takes to Qualify

Sasol’s selection process is rigorous. To be considered, you must bring:

• Academic Foundation: Grade 12 with Mathematics.
• Physical Prowess: You must pass a specialized Firefighter medical and fitness assessment (no exceptions).
• The “Wish List” (What makes you a top pick): * Firefighter 1 & 2 (NFPA 1001)

Daily Operations & Key Accountabilities

As a recruit in the Regional Ops and Asset Services division, you will:

• Respond: React instantly to SHERQ-related emergency incidents.
• Maintain: Service all portable firefighting equipment across the Secunda plants and buildings.
• Train: Participate in constant mental and physical conditioning.
• Improve: Identify and propose ways to make emergency response more effective.
