Intertek Testing Services Learnerships and Internships 2026

Intertek Testing Services is offering learning and workplace-based training opportunities for unemployed South African youth from previously disadvantaged backgrounds through its 2026 Learning Opportunities Programme. These opportunities are designed for students and graduates who need practical exposure to complete their qualifications or who are looking to gain their first professional experience in a structured and regulated work environment.

The programme supports Work Integrated Learning (WIL), internships, and TVET in-service training across a range of scientific, technical, administrative, and business-related fields. Successful applicants will be placed at Intertek sites across South Africa, where they will receive hands-on training, workplace mentorship, and exposure to industry-aligned processes that enhance long-term employability.

Available Learning Opportunities and Requirements

Analytical Chemistry – Work Integrated Learning (WIL)

Qualification Required

Applicants must be currently studying towards a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry at a University of Technology such as DUT, MUT, CPUT, or TUT.

Analytical Chemistry – Internship

Qualification Required

Applicants must have completed a qualification in Analytical Chemistry from a University of Technology, including DUT, MUT, CPUT, or TUT.

Electrical Engineering – TVET In-Service Training

Qualification Required

Applicants must be studying towards a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and require 18 months of in-service training to complete their qualification.

Applicants must hold a Diploma in Human Resource Management from a University of Technology such as DUT, MUT, or CPUT.
