Minimum Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the 03 April deadline, you must meet one of the following academic criteria:

1. Matric (Grade 12):
   • Must have Mathematics (Mathematical Literacy is NOT accepted).
   • Must have Physical Science and English.
   • A minimum pass of 40% in all three subjects.
2. N2 Certificate (or higher):
   • All subjects required for the Electrician trade: Electrical Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering Science, and Electrotechnology/Electrotechnics or Engineering Drawings.
3. NCV Level 4:
   • Completed in the appropriate trade with all subjects passed at a minimum of 40%.
