Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for the LIOHR402 intake, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Status: Successfully Completed S4 in Metallurgical Engineering or Analytical Chemistry.
- University Letter: You must provide an official confirmation letter from your University of Technology stating that you require P1 and P2 training.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Traits: Initiative-driven, result-oriented, and capable of working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities during Training
- Practical Completion: Under the guidance of a Mentor, complete all tasks required for Practical 1 (P1) and Practical 2 (P2).
- Progress Tracking: Maintain a training logbook and submit quarterly progress reports to both Glencore and your university.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements (Glencore’s “SafeWork” standards).
